One Name Family Tree - £250

A one branch family tree including all the siblings with that surname, up to and including your great grandparent’s generation.

What is included?

​

• A free initial assessment of the available material.

• Research and reporting time and travel to local archives.

• A family tree in the format of your choice (e.g. a printed copy or GEDCOM file, which can be used with an online site such as Family Search, Ancestry or Find my Past) including names, dates and places of birth and death. (Dates may be full e.g. 21 Jan 1841 or the year (1841) or approximate year (c.1841) depending on the information available.)

• (Photo books are also available, see our services page for details).

• Digital copies of documents including:

• Baptism, marriage, and burial entries in Parish Church or Nonconformist registers (before 1837).

• Birth (from 1837 to 1916) marriage and death certificates (from 1837 to 1957) for your direct ancestors (the cost, currently £7 for a PDF copy from the General Registry Office is included in this package.)

• Copies of census returns (1841-1939) that include your ancestors.

• Transcriptions of available wills and entries in probate calendars for direct ancestors.

• Copies of family notices in newspapers.

• A summarised report on the research conducted, listing sources used with full citations, analysis, and conclusions.
