My father’s family have lived in the South Cotswolds since the 1500s. Over the last 25 years I have researched them extensively, together with my husband’s family who were farmers in the North Cotswolds for generations.
We have spent many rewarding days walking, researching, painting, and photographing the landscape, churches, and historic buildings of the Cotswolds.
I have experience in researching entries in Parish and Nonconformist registers, apprenticeship, employment and military records, Court records, Wills and Probate, house, land, manorial, estate and migration records.
I have B.A. and M.A. degrees in Art History and Religious Studies, a Post Graduate Certificate in Education and a Certificate in Family History Skills and Strategies (distinction). I am an Associate of A.G.R.A. (The Association of Genealogists and researchers in Archives), have researched for well-known Genealogy companies and been an expert Coach at the London Roots Tech Conference 2019 and the Family History and Really useful shows online in 2020 and 21.
